I have seen a person get 815 FICO with only one credit card. It seems pretty weird, this would seem to mean that the credit mix is not required.

The person has 1 open credit card with a $5800 limit, opened in 1989 and has a $0 balance, so 100% available credit. There are no other loans and no late pays or derogs on credit report.

    Their score factors are:

    EXP/FAIR ISAAC INSTALLMENT 2 = 815

    SCORE FACTORS:
32 NO RECENT INSTALLMENT LOAN INFORMATION
24 LACK OF RECENTLY REPORTED BALANCES ON REVOLVING/OPEN ACCOUNTS
19 TOO FEW ACCOUNTS RATED 'CURRENT'
03 TOO FEW BANK REVOLVING ACCOUNTS

What do you folks think about this?
