But Fair Isaac & Co. provides them similar algorithms to generate your score. What an Equifax rep told me is that their score is based on your entire report, whereas the score given to a lender is based on the lender's own criteria. The score you get may be higher or lower than the one the lender obtains, and you may disagree about their assessment of your score. Ok, thanks but, I don't see where score on my credit report, tell me where I can get my score. Is it from visting the on-line sites you gave me or, do I have to request a certain type of credit report? Thanks again.
