I'm trying to arificially raise FICO, by disputing some negative stuff on my Equifax and Experian. Do you know if it still works? How soon can I check FICO after I placed disputes online with CRAs to be sure that it updated already. From what I read here, it works with EQ, definitely doesn't work with TU, and I'm not sure about EXP. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Given that, would it be beneficial to dispute a Sears card that was opened just 2 month ago and is in good standing. I hear that new account might also reduce the score. I'm applying for a car loan and I know for a fact that this particular lender doesn't look at the report itself they just look at a score. I think they pull either EQ or EXP.
Doesn't work with EX's fake score. Now that we can get the "real" FICO for EX, I don't think anyone has had time to dispute and check...besides that costs $12.95!!!! As soon as it shows "investigation in process", that is when I saw a change in FICO.
