Hello all, I have 3 credit accounts that will AGE to 24 months in either Nov / Dec. My understanding is that at 24 months, I will gain FICO points due to these accounts aging to the 24th month mark. My question is..if I close these accounts the 25th month, will I lose the FICO points I gained for them aging to the 24th month? Tia
...To add a little...we found out if you keep unused accounts open, the available credit limit helps with your F.I.C.O. score. Your DEBT TO CREDIT LIMIT will be helped... So if it does NOT have an annual fee...it will help to keep it unused and open...
