I purchased my EQ report and ordered the scorepower rating last week. I rec'd a 680 (beacon) score. My second reason that impacts my score is #8 too many inquiries in last year. I have 5. Is that too many? Also, I just looked at the same score power again because you can view for 30 days. The date at the top was February 3rd which is today. My score remained the same at 680. If my score changes within my 30 day order period will the scorepower update or do I just keep getting the same score from the order date?

You get the same score. I just save the page in a "credit" file on my HD. That way I don't have to log in if I want to see something.

    Yes if they say so.
If they say one that is how it is also.

As far as inquiries go, from what I've learned, they really only count heavily for the first 6 months. That is also one of my reason codes. I have 3 in the last 6 months, (all in the last month) 5 in the last year and 7 in last 2 years. They are full of it.

On my experian, I have 1 inquiry within past 6 months. One of the reasons why my score is not higher: too many inquirys within past 6 months.

What ever they report POS. or NEG. can and will be used against you:

How can 1 inquiry in the past 6 months be too many? I guess they expect us to never ever apply for credit. Because if we do, just once, we deserve to be punished.

A better word would be extortion.
