I'm curious as to whether anyone has any idea of what kind of impact (point-wise) a ch 13 dropping off the cr will have on the score - any rough guesstimate on about how many points it might raise a score?

    thanks

If it's dropping off from age, I would assume not too much difference because it's already old.

But as lbrown59 said, who know? Only Fair Issac knows for sure, and they're not telling!!

    After Ch13 discharge :

    TransUnion + 61
    Equfax +74
    Experian +16 (1 derog)

thanks for your info - that would be a very helpful range to add if we can get similar results -

any idea what kind of effect - point-wise - charge offs and collections have when they fall off - I just got two TLs deleted from hubbys that were incorrect - instead of one settled acct, showed full balance as a charge off, and a 2nd entry under a diff acct number with the amt we didn't pay in the settlement (currently fighting with them over the FCRA violations) but they appear to be deleting -instead of a zero balance on a settled acct, it looked like a Ch off of over $5500 and a collection of over $2700 - for a combined debt of over $8k - had to be a big negative in the scoring -
