After playing with the FICO simulator for my TU and EQ reports... something is painfully obvious, I need to pay down my revolving balances. I plan on paying down to 20% total by October... its gotta happen by then, because my pay is going to be significantly cut (5 years on the job, and my pay goes down.. go figure???) I am thinking of closing down some of these revolving accts around that time and applying for Amex Green so that I can just pay off each month. For those carrying the Mean-Green, how hard is it to get? Income requirements, scores, etc.
keep all your revolving accounts open to help with utilization 650ish with no baddies 2 years history should get you green
