I pulled my credit reports and have been disputing some inaccurate derogatory listings, with success so far of a charge off being taken off...I now have 3 more disputes pending and was wondering something. I have a great new job that I have been at about a year now, and it isn't listed as my current employer. In fact, the only jobs listed as former jobs are those from college about 8 years ago. My income is very good, and my company is awesome. My question is does your job and income level have impact on your FICO score? My scores are about 540 on each of the 3, and seems really low for the minor glitches on my report. Doesn't debt to income ratio have some impact on your score? I would think that it should... This site has been SO much help so far...and I think I am addicted to credit repair. Thanks to everyone for sharing their successes and tips. It is greatly appreciated.
Employer has nothing to do with your credit score. Incomes are not reported to the credit bureaus...and hopefully never will be.
