Fico Scores

    I use truecredit for my scores and alerts and laso a company called privacyguard. Are these score the same as the fico score?

    No, only the FICO scores are the "real" score, the others are commonly referred to as "FAKOs".

    what kind of credit scores do you get at sites like truecredit?

    the scores can differ by almost 100 pts. At a site called privacyguard, my Experian score in 739 and at myfico is about 70 pts lower. Wow!!! what a difference. I think its all a scam. I had someone pull my scores for a mortgage and came up with an absurd low number(combined) I told him that it should be 100 pts higher at least,he checked again,called me and said that he was sorry-I was right(close to 100 pts higher)made a HUGE difference.
