I am finally ready to check my FICO score. One thing confuses me. Does each CRA calculate my score based on the info in their files (resulting in possibly three different scores), or is there just one score based on all three credit reports?
Only one agency is offering them to the public now -- Equifax. When you pull your score online you will get a consumer disclosure inquiry on Equifax that does not count against your score. The other two agencies have "coming soon" links on their pages but you cannot get your scores from them yet.
