I monitor my score about once a week. It has been just above 680 for quite a while. In general, the statements on the creditwatch site have been positive - creditors will treat you favorably with this score, etc. My score just dropped to 677, amodest change. Now the reviews are more negative. You will get lower limits, you will pay higher rates, etc. It seems that the 680 point has significance. I have seen Toyota ads saying 680 FICO needed for promotional financing. I'm not asking for advice, just making an observation.
That's interesting. I'm at a 684, but I've used my cc's this month, so my ratio will be even higher. It'll probably go down a little. I can't wait to see what it says.
