    Okay Guys,

Having much better fortune with my eq than tu (sorta).

Just pulled my eq after investigation was completed...

As of 03/20:Had 3 unpaid collections
    1 bk from 94
1x30 and 1x60 for credit card

Originally disputed 3 collections and bk.
    Score was 638

    Resutls:
As of 03/27: 2 paid collections (1 drops in 3 months due to SOL)

Apparently, the bk was deleted, 1 coll was deleted and 2 unpaids were updated to paid/0 bal. For some reason, my cc lates were dropped. I disputed this one through tu as paid as agreed, but they are not showing up on EQ anymore and I didnt disp through eq. The reports are only a week apart. Not gonna complain.

    New score: 629

Okay...what happened?? My guess is that when the ca's updated the collections to paid, it affected the "reported last" date.

One of the collections showed date as 2/03 on the old report and 3/03 on the new.

The other collection showed date last reported as 2000 and was updated to 03/03.

I think this may have done it...

BUT>>>doesnt it make sense that if a bk was deleted and 1x30, 1x60 late was deleted, along with a collection, that at LEAST my score would rise a little???

This whole thing is impossible and makes no sense!!

Just have to hope EQ doesnt re-insert like Evil TU did, lol.

Just remember- the ultimate goal is to get rid of the negatives- FICO will follow eventually :)

    Tell me about it, lol.

Pulled tu today..ANOTHER item was reinserted, my ex's addy was put as my former addy (NEVER have set foot in this house), and the things I was told were to be deleted are still there...I cant win for losin!!

I am HAPPY about my eq, though...maybe I should FRAME it...so I have proof of an almost clean report before eq starts re-inserting!! It is weird, though...they didnt verify the bk. I thought for sure they would, since my former name is listed on eq. Hm..looks like I won a small battle in the rage against the evil ones, lol.

How is your stuff going? Any luck with the reinsertions? Cant remember if it was a bk or a judgement that got reinserted on yours or hubby's report.

It was a judgment- and it's not getting anywhere. Called EQ and spoke with a supervisor and she claims they'll still have copies of the papers from the court proving it was vacated.

Still there. I need to find a fax # for EQ and fax it in along with an ITS for reinsertion. Never got a reinsertion notice- what I did get is a letter stating the results of the investigation were it "remains"- 2 weeks after getting ANOTHER results letter saying it was "deleted".

What drives me nuts is that it's the actual incorrect items we seem to be having the most problem with!

AMEN to that...I swear...I couldnt help but laugh out loud when I saw that 200 point drop. Mysteriously, derogs just keep reappearing...its like they're going back through all my deletions and saying hmmm....lets put this one back in.

Think I will just let them do what it is they are doing, and work with what they hand me when this is all over. This sucks, though.

Keep me posted on what happens with the judgement.

    How's that Corvette mastercard?!?!?!

Love it :) That and the GM card and the Union Plus card :) Oddly enough, the Corvette is a gold card- the other two are just the standard ones.

Feels nice to have a decent card again. Still afraid once his score goes down (it's now at 646- was 681 when he applied) they'll do an AR and it'll be "bye bye Corvette card!".

We've only been using the GM card. Trying to utilize the "earnings"- so far we have $55.63 towards a new GM car.

I bet the rewards are great...

Interesting about those rewards cards...I use to do accounting for a lady who did this:

She put ALL of her bills, expenses, etc on 1 reward card.

Then, she used those little checks (credit card "checks" that can be used anywhere) from another card to pay the bill on the first card.

Then, she did the same thing with ANOTHER card-paid the second one off with those little check thingies from the 3rd card.

Then she just wrote 1 check to pay off the 3rd card.

    1) Never paid interest
    2) Racked up 3 sets of rewards each month (hers were airline miles)
    3) only wrote 1 check out of her bank account each month.

It was pretty slick...will do this one day...when I can pee with the big dogs and am able to get a prime cc...

    Got you beat.

Sherman Acquisitions (a CA) put a line in my EQ, FICO dropped 40 points immediately. Guess what - it's not mine. Sherman pulls it out, FICO only goes back 16 of the 40 points. I lost 24 FICO points and did nothing. No new debt, no inquiries, no changes in status, nothing changed except Sherman In, Sherman Out.

The only problem I could see with this is if they c.c co charged you a balance transfer fee on the checks & considered it a cash advance (interest accruing the minute it hits the account).

A lot of banks now have promotions where it's "0 interest and 0 fees" for a period of time...

Food for thought :) I doubt I'm that organized, though. I'd miss a billing date somewhere in there lol
