MP$40 - How easy is the Fidelity AmEX Gold or Platinum to get? Viewed the Fidelity web site . . . am I correct in reading you have to open a brokerage account with a required deposit (Example $5K for the Gold)?
    Thanks for the reply . . .

Yes you are correct in reading. But throwing $5k in a brokerage account doesn't guarentee you the card. For some reason you still have to go through the same approval standards as you would if you were applying for the regular Gold Charge card. I know one of the requirements is that you have at least a 650 FICO. But...for some reason I think they might of lightened the approval standards because I currently have a Ford Credit chargeoff (which all of the sudden went from reporting as -0- balance for years to a $462 balance that I don't owe and have no clue where it came from!) from 1995 reporting and was still approved. That is my only negative on Equifax. I have no clue what my score is but I know it's probably below 650.
