Ok, I am really excited!!! I just found out that I am getting EQ bumpage. It started at 125 inq's for me. 2 hards fell off from 2001. No increase in score though since they are so old, but eventually the newer ones will come off.
It's really funny how it's different for everyone. I think it depends on the amount of other items, such as tradelines, on your report.
Mine hit at 99; I lost 4 hards and gained 18 FICO points out of the deal on Sunday. I still have a ton of hards. All of them are <45 days old though. With so many people getting it this week, I wonder if it's something they are doing at EFX instead of bumpage, since the rumor is they are doing some kind of system upgrade. Will be interesting to see what happens in about a month, when the rest of my hards are supposed to drop off according to the conventional wisdom of bumpage.
Well if they are doing some kind of upgrade, I'm hoping to get all my EQ hards removed by then. I was also hoping for TU bumpage today, since Thursday is when it is supposed to update. Well I logged in this morning and I did have several deleted, but the were SOFTS!!!
Add me to the list. I finally got bumpage at 112 inquiries. One hard fell off, but no change in score. It will be another 2 weeks before two more hards drop off.
Me too! I got mine at 124. I lost 6 hards, 1 was from the last year. Gained 5 points. I should lose me last 2 in 17 days. They are from August, so should gain some points there!
Another hard fell off today, this one 40 days old. Score went up 7 points. I thought bumpage was only supposed to work on inqs that are >45 days old?
Too bad we can't get bumpage on Collection accounts that are being reported on our reports. Just a thought. leencaci
getting bumpage here as well. lost 2 old hards. many more old ones are left before it gets to more recent ones :/
I was lucky because the bottom 5 inquires were all hards, with only CC softs between the them and the 6th hard. I only have 17 more days to get rid of the last 2. Now that EQ and EXP have only a few, wish I could rid of some of the 11 TU hards!
