    congrats

I have owned two jeeps and they are by far my favorite to drive.

    They're rough riding
    get bad gas mileage
    the insurance is expensive
    they are noisy and
    they have no room

But there's nothing like putting the top down and going for a long drive to nowhere......

I think I'm buying another one soon as soon as I get done suing equifax....

where do you live......who did they pull....and what were your scores....

    It's definately a Jeep thing!

    Hey Anna,

    Congratulations on the jeep.

FatTony, your description of the jeep sounds just like a Camaro, which by the way is a very cool car.

Well, I got a Liberty, and it rides like a caddy! The gas mileage isn't so great, though, but that's OK. I live in PA, but bought it in WV. They pulled TU, didn't care that the score was low, (550), cause the report was spotless. Went through Chrysler Finance. oh, and my top doesn't come down!

Anna you said your report was spotless, please elaborate. Your TU score was 550 but your report is spotless, I do not understand. Help me out I am in the car market and Chrysler is a company I am looking at

There are no derogs on my or Hubby's report. I assume the score is low due to new accounts, and high balances. If I were to lease, I'd be in their lower tier. But to buy, the score didn't seem to matter. I'm still a bit confused, but I got what I wanted. I would prefer to buy, anyway. Also, the dealership was hard-up for sales.

Well, I'm sorry to hear you didn't get a real jeep;). Just kidding the liberty is a very nice truck. I auotmatically assume that a jeep is a Wrangler. Anyway congatulations all the way around, you got a great deal for that score. I am going to apply for credit with chyrsler next month. My scores are alittle higher but I have some old charge offs. I would be very happy with same deal you got.

Congrats! I just got a new mercedes G500 this weekend -- and got approved for tier 1 credit on the lease, despite a FICO of 625 according to them. My online score showed 654. The woman said that my score was lower because I had too many open cards with low utilization (?!?) Fact is, i am maxed out on all my cards, but I wan't going to argue with her! I got a call yesterday asking to verify my income, but other than that, all seems ok. Go figure. Perhaps the fact that I had three perfect pay auto loans helped. Unfortunately, I got two hard inqs -- one from the dealer, and one from Daimler-Chrysler. WHich lowered the TU score, even though they said they weren't pulling it.
