today is the first time my experian score went over 700 points. Although it not real fico score I still am happy.

the score is 705. But 10k of debt is hidden in a amex loc and a business blue. And citibank has not updated , the balance is still 0. lol. I hope they don't update for a while. ( balance is close to the limit lol)

So the 705 score is grossly inflated. But on the plus side, I have paid off all my high interest debt and am saving more than 300 in interest a month. Now to work on paying down my old mistakes so that I can deserve the 700 score.

    Congratulations!

Now you can use the extra $$ you would have been paying in interest to get rid of the remaining debt.

My EX is 695 as of this morning, so I'm right there with you. EQF is 698 & TU 725. Although I think the TU score doesn't carry much weight, I take some comfort knowing the composite score is 706!

Actually if I remember right, someone told me that to be considered in the 700 club you go by the score from equifax. That is only around 650.

But I am working on it, trust me. I am in credit pay down mode. And also am refraining myself from apply for any more credit.

I am just happy I am out of the subprime night mare. paying $200 dollars a month on a $5000 loc from mbna and seeing $135 of that money going to interest. That was scary.

Rina, I think that you might find that your real transunion score is actually higher. I know that mine score is actually about 60 points higher that the internal tu score. I had a mortgage broker pull my tu and he told me that it was 618 back in june. and according to the score that tu gave me I was only a 548.

I just got a MBNA loc for $15000 at 18.99% I use it for ratio's but i could just imagine blowing 13k of that and what the intrest would be..I am in the same boat as you with citi too :) Just got amex loc for 5k at P+3.99 tho.

Leo, I know what you mean about being out of subrime credit hell, and it is nice, when my last derog fell off eq and my score went up to 729 it was like having a weight lifted from my shoulders, not having to worry about being in a store and applying for credit and getting denied(so embarrasing), now I proudly whip out the plat citi or the plat amex and with a smile say charge it(love that feeling). Well enough about me its your moment and CONGRATULATIONS

Just checked my beacon equifax score ( had to pay)

    it's now 670! , 30 more points to go.

4 reason codes, first to many inquiries, doh! second accounts history not enough, 3rd to high credit balances compared to others, 4th to high balances on revolving accounts.

doesn't the 3rd and the 4th look awefully alike? I remember someone saying that they just put anything down to give you 4 reasons.

p.s. this is my most up to date report. Even citibank is all up to date. so this score really reflects my credit status in real time.

Leo that's great!! It won't be long now. You and I are Equifax twins ;) All my inquiries are on EFX. Since they dominate in my area, I 1) opted out. 2) sit on my hands when I see discussions about applying for all those cards. After the urge to apply passes, it's safe to start typing again, hehe.

Leo: I don't know your history. Did you do the thing where you pay down a card, wait for it to report, then BT from another card, wait for that to report, etc., thereby inflating your score? If so, there are some questions I need to ask
