I got a Chevron credit card in July 2000 via a preapproved offer. However, I never used the card, due to the high minimum payment. With things looking up lately, I decided to use my unused credit cards and make the payments. (I will soon use Spiegel as well, my last unused card.) After 13 months, I went to a Chevron station and slid the card into the pump. No problem; I was able to fill up the tank. Apparently, Chevron cards have a long shelf life. Get one soon.
Chevron has been an alright gas card. They are not very genorous with limit increases, but i was able to get a $100 increase after 12 months. Which only brings my CL to a mere $500, but this will help my debt ratio slightly. Good Luck
Chevron is great! I use mine on the average of 3 times a month for car washes. There is a Chevron across the street from my job and I go there on lunch to get the Caddy washed. You'd be surprised what they'll do for $10!
