I finally got one of the bogus tax liens off my husband. It was a $22K lien to the state, it has taken FOREVER to get this removed. The Equifax score went up 12 points, I was hoping it would be more than that, but 12 points is better than a sharp stick in the eye!
I am impressed! I also have two bogus tax liens and can't get rid of them - how the heck did you get this resolved. The IRS says I don't owe them but the collection agencies say I do!!
I had to have the state search out a bunch of stuff but ultimately once I got the actual paperwork that they basing this on in front of me, I was able to prove that it wasn't my husband. Now I am just waiting for the second one to come off, hopefully Experian will do that in a few days.
