Finally got experian to delete an old address that they have refused to delete for years! I sent them a copy of my drivers license, a copy of a utility bill, I had my dispute letter notarized and sent cmrrr. They received my dispute letter 2 days ago, and today it's gone. Yay!
What is the advantage to this? I ask because I have a few old addresses/employers on my CR? conversely Why wouldn't the CR want to update this information? It seems like they would want your most current address and not the rest of them, which is why I don't understand their refusal to delete.
