I am very confused. We have more than 10 small finance signature loan companies we owe combine. We are confused of going to bankruptcy or consumer credit counseling? The amounts are small but there so many of them. Can these loans be consolidated somehow? These people are coming to our home calling back to back and going to work. I mean we do not know what else to do.? It has become a living nightmare.We are behind due to medical issues and to top it off I will be going to unemployment soon due to medical reason. So we are not sure what to do?

Approximately how much does "small" become when you add them all up? Debt consolidation is generally always an option, but you may be better off devising your own plan to work your way out of this situation. It will likely cost you less in the long run.
