I had a fingerhut account about 2 years ago that has never been closed but has a zero balance. Today I checked on my investigation online and it was completed. The item was removed!! But I noticed a new entry from Fingerhut not Axsys bank. I can't tell if its positive or negative because I am looking online through an investigation report. Has anyone else noticed this one their report? Maybe the are now reporting. I know I don't have a balance, it's been zero for about two years. My choices for an investigation are : item does not belong to me and acct. closed. I can find out when they send me the result of my dispute but I though maybe you guys would know.
I get some Fingerhut Soft inquires from time to time on my reports. I never have had a relationship or account with them.
They did this to me last week. Instant tradeline! Almost four years old-pays as agrees-never late-revolving account. With this and two other cards rapidly approaching the 2 year mark, I'm hoping my FICO takes a jump up.
hmm i have a fingerhut $150 limit card here. Never used it. i wonder if i'll get a free tradeline. They'll approve anyone..
Thats good to know. My limit is $1,250. I bought one thing and it got increased to $1,250 from $200. Thanks.
I've had an account with these folks for about 2 years and yes, they are starting to report. I asked them this about 3 months ago and their original plan was to have just about all accounts reported by this past July. Mine hasn't shown up yet. Tom
