I have had their card for two months now with no problems. I hear they have very bad customer service though. And they charge to make a payment from their web site.

I have their card too. You must absolutely pay your bill by the due date or else you will be hit with a $29 fee even if it is a day late.

I have had my card for eight months and I have been given 1 CL since. They are not the best, but a tradeline is a tradeline.

I meant that I got a CLI after six months.

It took over a YEAR of disputing to get them to admit that they were reporting inaccurate, and unverifiable information, and even then, they refused IN WRITING to update the CRAs.

It took me complaining to the Better Business Bureau just to get them to investigate my complaints about what they were reporting.

And in the year of their written responses, they attempted to claim three differerent balances.

You might want to look at the complaints on thecomplaintstation.com.

FNBM is one of the cards that can easily blow up in your face! When I originally signed up with them, they "charged" your "deposit" to the card and then allowed you to make payments on it with that exhorbitant interest rate. THe whole idea was to get a credit card and get a new good TL reporting. When that first month hits and your payment is delayed, you get hit with the late fee and then the over-the-limit fee. Within a short period, the sucker escalated to $900(!) yet I had never used the card!!!

After contacting the Office of the President and telling them that I would have them charged with fraud (they don't open a savings account until it is paid down to 0, so they charged you for goods you never received.....), they wiped out the balance and changed the TL to read PAA/Never late. They went from being my worst nightmare to a good tradelines. It all happened fairly quick, so no hard feelings!

I have them and have had no problems. I pay my bill online and early. These sub prime cards really seem to like it when you pay online. I know about the fees for paying online but after paying 3 or for bux for certified mail i dont really care. Need the tradeline.

    SCMom:

I have a letter from the office of the president which says in no uncertain terms that they will not update my credit reports, and if i have a problem with what they're reporting, dispute it through the CRAs; did that, and they still screwed up the reporting. ;)

The person in the office of the president seems to think that the three CRAs hack into their computer systems monthly to grab the information, instead of them sending the information to the CRAs... :)

See, this is where I would call my lawyer. Why would you have this card?
