Well, I got my first deletion so far. It was on an unpaid collection(medical bill $8800). I always thought the paid would be easier to delete. Guess, it really is unpredictable. I learn something knew about credit repair all th time. Thanks for everyones help. FICO750
FICO750, Nice amount to be deleted too!! What method did you use? Mailed in dispute? Online? HIPPA? Did it come off with one dispute??? or did it take more times than that?
I sent in a dispute, to equifax's Efiliate(sp.) CSC. And within a 10 day period i got a letter from them saying they deleted it. I thought that was pretty damn quick. FICO750

Well, I still have 4-5 items on each report I'd like deleted. Right now I'm trying a different approach. I sent out nutcase letters and one Goodwill letter. I'll keep everyone informed. Keep the faith Brothers and sisters. FICO750
When you filled your dispute with the CRA what kind of language did you use in the letter? Did you use one of those online form letters or did you draft it from scratch? --Delgato
Yeah, I used one of the letters on this board. And then, just filled in my info. I'll have to look back on my records to find which one was used though. Can't remember off the top of my head. FICO750

Yeah, and now I'm about to send out the same letter to the other CRA that has the same collection listed. Hopefully it will have the sam effect. But, if not I'll just make their lives hell. I will FLOOD them with papers until they give in. Hell, I've got more time(approx. 6 years), than their willing to give me( I hope).
