Here something I need help with should I get a first premier bank card. I am working on credit repair paying off some charge offs and collection accounts and paying down over limits total screw up was lost in the wilderness for awhile.
will be trying to by a house after the first of the year
will this first premier card help I know that it will reflect as a inquiry and new credit account but don't like the fee's 95.00 29.00 48.00 then a 72.00 annual
fee billed at 6.00 a month ..9.9 APR though should I get a 250.00 limit will have to pay it down, in the long run should I do it or wait for a better deal....LOL
will it hurt me being new once I get the other things off first like trying to repair and rebuild at the same time

I can do this, may take time but I will be out of credit jail.

Don't do it. Try Orchard Bank, Target Guest and/or Capital One. First Premier is a big ripoff.

When I had the worst credit imaginable this was the only card I could get. I got it and the only bad thing about it is the $6 a month fee and $7 dollar fee for payment by phone. Otherwise 9.9 is good and they report to all three CRA every month. Helped my credit alot.

It won't change your score too much right off the bat since the limit is always low. I started with a $250 limit and now they have upped me to $600. (a $25 fee for credit increase though) after a year.

    I've seen worse...

    STAY AWAY FROM FIRST PREMIER.

Work on paying your bills on time and getting stuff deleted off your report for the next six months.

Then apply for a gas card and Target Guest card.

Then try Orchard or Capitol One.

Don't think you must 'settle' for those terms because of where you are today. Be patient and be smart about what you are getting (interest rates, fees, etc.) this time around.

Good Luck but seriously, no FP
