I received a card from First Premier over the weekend. I do not want this card, I did not apply for this card. How does one go about returning the card? I've already cut the card in half.
Be sure to call and cancel with the creditor. Same thing happened to my boyfriend and he cut the card and never activated it but then like a month later, they sent him a statememt with charges (ie annual fee, etc.) on it. He called them and they canceled everything but it was a hassle because the whole time they were trying to convince him into keeping the card. His argument was, "Why would I want this bullshit card w/ a raping interest rate and fees when I have an Am/Ex Gold card?" They couldn't debate that.
MP$40, CALL THE 1-800 NUMBER ON THE CARD TELL THEM YOU WANT TO CANCEL CUSTOMER SERVICE WILL CANCEL IT I RECEIVED ONE TOO AND ALL THE CHARGES THEY PUT BEFORE YOU EVEN USE THE CARD WAS OUTRAGIOUS GOOD LUCK
