First Premier screws me after all.

    I have been with First Premier for a while...my account was in great standing...until I closed it. I am SO pissed and I have a few questions. First...here's what happened.

    This account was reporting no lates and an R1 status. I had some lates reporting in 2001, but they fell off in April of this year. I called FP to see why they fell off and I was told that after 2 years, if an account has late and it is returned to an R1 status, the lates come off after 2 years. Even with the lates showing, the account was reporting an R1 status.

    Now, I pulled my report on Saturday. FP updated my report...removing my R1 status and placing a "PAYS 61-90 DAYS LATE" on my account.

    I have reports showing that even when the account was showing the 2 late pays, it STILL had an R1 status. I have the reports that showed FP removed the late pays (did not even have to dispute...they fell off automatically) and R1 status. And now, I have the report that shows "ACCOUNT CLOSED" (doesnt say I closed it, so it looks like it is a delinquent account that the creditor closed)

    This update took place only upon closure of the account. It is like I have been punished for closing the account. Like I said, even with the lates reporting, it was an R1 status with PAID AS AGREED notation.

    WTF!! I called cust service and was told that it is reporting correctly...because it was late. (not even gonna GO there) I explained that even when the lates were reflected, the account showed paid as agreed. Now, upon closing, they took that positive status away. Got absolutely nowhere with these a-holes (sorry..Im a little pissed).

    I also called EQ this morning. They said ALL payment history was deleted. Even the supposed info regarding any late payments isnt on there. There is no payment history being reported...it just says in the past 29 months that I have been 61-90 days late. So, not only are they lying about my account status (now an R3), they have deleted all my payment history as well...making it look like the lates just happened. On top of all this, without the notation that I am the one who closed the account, it looks like they closed it in response to the "lates".

    My score has dumped like 50 points because of this. It is like they purposely reported my account as bad to show me who's boss...they've poisoned my report.

    So....I really need y'alls help.

    If I dispute w/ the bureaus, FP will auto verify it. I am working on a petition this morning, along with a letter to FP, to send to them about this. I have no prob taking these bastards to court...just want some opinions and ideas about where I should go from here.

    First, I am researching other applicable law, such as DTPA laws for deceptive trade practices. Also, FCRA and stae guidelines as well. I want to make sure I nail all of the violations in my petition to them. If anyone can think of anything else I can get them on, please respond.

    Thanks in advance, guys. I'm not sure what to do next, and Im sorry if this post is a little unclear...any help would be much appreciated.

    I would ddispute it, then let them verify oit, then dispute it again, and let them verify it a second time, then sue FP for knowingly posting erroenpous inf in your CRA file )a FCA violatio).

    You should have the documentation to prove it was a retalliatory derog posted.

    Thank you. I am about halfway through my Petition. I disputed it w/ one cra this morning. Will be sending all sorts of letters out.

    I am hoping the docs I need are as follows:

    CR showing Paid as agreed, with old lates

    CR showing FP removed lates and still had PAA status,

    CR showing after account was closed the derog info...review period shows exact number of months reviewed when account was posting good status.

    Also, they deleted all evidence of ANY payment history from my file....and replaced it with a derog notation, but no suporting dates.

    i'm coming up on my big 1 year anniversary w/ good ol' first premier, i have a gold card... 9.9%.... i can't remember if there was an annual fee...

    ?? anyone?

    it came to me with like an 178 dollar balance with a 250 dollar limit (some credit repair... giving a card dangerously close to the limt)

    i guess i could call those fools...
