From Florida to all the experts:(Fla-Tan, could you read and give advice?)
Is it true that with a short credit history (less than 3 yrs)and scores around 625 any lender will ask for 10% down? Also, what would be the rate? (The broker said 8%.....) (I'm getting all the exact info tomorrow, it's not for me, it's for my SO's youngest son) Thanks for helping.

2+ years history and a 625 score will get him 100% financing with 6% allowed back towards closing costs from the sellers....
    good luck!

Thanks for the info.... I think he will have to accept an offer he got, any way.

I don't think Fla-tan will answer, since his last post was in October 2004. You need to be aware of the dates of old posts you read.
