Today I called First Union and asked to reduce my APR,the rep. transfered my call to retention.At first the retention guy told me he couldn't change my APR because my card is reward card, then I told him I have some balances on my other cards and I 'd like to transfer to First Union if he could give me promotion rate .He asked me to hold and minutes later I was told my APR will be 14.99% and 5.99% for balance transfer.
