My friend applied Yahoo Platinum Visa last Friday and got a disapproved letter from First USA this afternoon.She has perfect credit;TU 802 ,Expeiran 794.The letter stated "The information you provided us didn't score a sufficient number of points for approval of your applicaton."The reasons for deny are:1) too many inquiries in last 12 months 2) too many credit accounts opened in last 12 months 3)increase balance.She has 2 inquiries and one new accout for last 12 months.The balance is 8,000.Her income totally supports her current credit line.
No credit situation justifies applying w/ FUSA. Consider your friend lucky, there are much better lenders than FUSA (just about all of them). Saar
