That 7 days after the date of your REQUEST, not after the billing cycle closes. That is a clear violation of the law.

    Ender,

When did your FUSA accounts first start reporting on EXP?

It started reporting about 30 days after I opened it? I've only had the account for about 3-4 months now.. what details do you need? Should I go for a lawsuit?

I asked the question for MY purposes, not yours. I am sorry if there is a misinterpretation... A month after your automated approval? approval letter? when you got the card? Inquiring minds wanna know.

You have a GREAT airtight lawsuit against FUSA, but no damages. A good lawyer could probably get punitives...but you aren't going to go to all that trouble, are you? So what do you want to do? Do you sue them because they are late with a $5 check? Or because they late-post your next payment? Here's a thought: maybe not -- what are you hoping to accomplish (hah! perhaps the first time I've suggested somebody consider NOT suing). Consider sending a WRITTEN request for your refund check. Put a 50 cent delivery receipt on this. Document receipt, keep the envelope they mail to you 2 mos later. Put it all in a file. Keep your powder dry. If you use this card at all you may need it -- ie, if you get risk-priced into a new rate, or late APR'd, etc. now you've got a lawsuit and some leverage. Your experience is the tip of the iceberg of why people hate FUSA.

FWIW, I would NEVER pay FUSA by mail unless its in their envelope, to their address, and WITH a delivery receipt attached to my letter.
