I Posted this yesterday, but I wanted everyone to see the letter. I disputed a First USA visa as not my account with all three CRAs. First USA responded back to me with the following.

    Dear Disputer,

As a leader in the credit card industry, we are committed to providing innovative products and superior customer service. We received your dispute from the credit reporting agencies, regarding the information reported for the above referenced account.
After researching your dispute, including a review of our records related to the account, we were unable to clearly determine your responsiblility for the account. Therefore, we informed the CRAs that the account should be reported as disputed on your credit file pending a further investigation.
If you wish to continue to dispute the reporting of this account, we will be pleased to assist you. To do this, we ask that you send a signed copy of the enclosed affidavit.

I am not sending anything. I am forwarding this letter to the CRAs and that should be the end of it correct? They stated they reviewed the records related and could not CLEARLY determine your responsibility for the account.

Also, how did the CRAs verify in the first place?
