Well, chalk one up for the good guys. I had a single 30 day late on my First USA card. Disputed it, but came back verified. Then someone tried to use my card online, so I cancelled the card, and got a new one. Then my CRs started reporting Account cancelled by credit grantor. So I wrote a letter to FUSA, asking that they correct the notation, and could they find it in their hearts to delete the 30 day late. They said no, but they agreed to delete the prior account, and all its information, and report the new account as current. End result...no more 30 day late! Now here's hoping the CRAs report the update properly...

So you will have an "INTERNAL" 30 days late...NEXT TIME THEY MAY SEND YOU TO 22%+

    F.Y.I. they have on-line pay...credit with-in 24 hours (I think)

They give you two months to pay? Before they will report it 30 days late? I have been charged a late fee a few times, but they report it on time to the burrueas. IM not sure how that works?

I'm already at 23.99%. They did that when I was late, and reduced my credit limit. In fact, all my cards are well north of 20%. It's killing me. The plan is to get my scores up, refinance and consolidate all my credit card debt into low rate, tax deductable debt.

Anyone know of a debt consolidator that doesn't negatively impact your credit scores? and doesn't depend on home equity?

I was just going on my own experience...<12.99% "JACKED" to 22.49% for NO reason...SO WE CLOSED ALL 3 OF OUR ACCOUNTS TOTALING ABOUT $72,000...

Same thing happened with me with FUSA.

I was at 9.99% for years, and now that my scores are bad, I'm at 19.99%!!!! I called last night to see if they would reduce and they wouldn't budge. I can't wait to get a HELOC and pay that sucker off.
