How can a person get their interest rate reduced. This account was deliquent 3 times
within six months. The interest rate double-therefore I am always paying interest. I asked to decrease the interest and they said they could not. What other options do I have?

You don't have any options. Why?Because you have just have black marks against for you now.No creditor is going to take a chance on you for now until you get your credit history in good standing, that is no lates for 2 years straight from date that you have been late last.Creditors take being late very seriously, and will not lower interest rates unless you are in financial trouble requiring a DMP or CCCS program which i would avoid at all cost.
