Just got results from a goodwill letter sent to FirstUSA, who took over Wachovia's credit card operations. Trying to get two lates removed. Took them about a month to reply with "Sorry, this would compromise the integrity of the reporting system". This account is being reported to eq. and TU under "FirstUSA", but is being reported to exp. as "Wachovia", with the same account number. I've been able to get this purged from eq. and TU simply by disputing, but now exp. Anyone have an idea on the best next step for exp?
