Hello I am new to the boards but I have herd a few good things about the boards. Me and my wife owned a 3 family home and until we lost it in forclosure. while we were in forclosure we trieed everything to get out including bk and pay the bank but could not. so for last 3 years our credit has been dead. I want to try and fix these things on my credit report to put us in position to nuy a another house preferably a 1 family but I know that if I try with out paying the old things than I am just fooling myself. if anyony has any ides I would greatly appreciate them. Hello and welcome. First, order credit reports from all 3 agencies. You can do it onine. Second, while you wait for them to come, read the FAQ, the links for newbies and every thread you have time to. Download all of the letters, read the lingo link, read read and read. Absorb the info, make notes, set up a system to papertrail the data that's about to come in. Take a deep breath and be ready for an exciting and uplifting journey! Shanyl
Make sure that the first time you order paper reports from all three bureaus. They have more info than the online versions. You can order them online, but don't do something like Privacyguard yet. And welcome!
