I am trying to get a 203k, have perfect credit for one year with a ch13 dismissed in 2000, some medical collections also in 2000. I cannot find a broker who will look beyond the rotten scores to see if we qualify. Any advice? Want a client in GA? LOL. We have a lease option on this house and have to close by NOV. 1 of this year. The house we owned before we moved was paid on time as of June of 2001 (when we got caught up) and the lease here has been paid perfectly which gives us one year of on time housing payments. We qualify for a VA loan also as I served in the navy but we really want the 203k to do some needed renovations (about 40,000) on this house. We will have the 3% down also in another month. Have cleaned up my credit a good bit with a couple of stubborn collections left, I would gladly pay them off at closing. Any suggestions or referrals would be appreciated.
