DOes anyone know if you apply online with Fleet, if they don't approve you immediately online and say that a decision cannot be made at this time and you will be notified by US mail, does this mean denial or would they have denied immediately? Thanks.
I called a few days after receiving that message and got approved for a $5,000 platinum card with 0% interest 'til June 2003. So don't give up hope! Ozzy.
Ozzyburger, Do you have the number you called? So you were obviously approved, but did you need to call them to get approved?
I had the same message; I applied online, didn't call them. Card showed up bout 2wks later. Not sure what Fleet was smoking when they "approved" me, though. I applied for Blue the same night, Amex gave me 8900$ at 0%/9.9 instant approval. Then applied for Fleet Platinum, they pulled my TU report, gave me the "cannot decide immediately" screen, then a toy fleet card shows up in the mail--$1700 limit (!).
Thanks, I figured that if they deny, you'd know immediately. I'll kee pmy fingers crossed for the next week or two.
