Fleet Classic

    I just applied for the Fleet Classic Visa online. I received the following message.

    "Your application has been received , however, we are unable to provide you with a decision at this time. We will notify you in about two weeks via US mail once your application has been processed."

    Does this bode well for me or is this just a nice way of saying DENIED? Anyone had any experience applying for this card. Here are my scores:
    TU-638
    EQ-674
    EXP-612

    It can go either way. I suggest you call them to determine the status of the app. They will often let you speak with a credit analyst, and your conversation with him/her will give you the opportunity to sway the decision towards an approval if it would otherwise be denied.

    i got that with my fleet platinum thats in my hand right now..

    so it doesn't mean the end of the world.

    fleet is not easy to get!

    i had over 150K in other (amex/citi/etc) before i could get fleet.
