Fleet Is Clueless...

    I asked for a limit increase a month or two ago...WAS DENIED...today + $3,000!!!

    How long have you had the account? Sometimes companies have a time limit how how long you have to maintain an account with them or even since the last increase. Maybe during that time frame you crossed into the threshold that would qualify you for an increase.

    2 YEARS, I THINK...

    I KNOW ABOUT THE 9 MONTH DEAL...

    George - same happened here about a year ago.

    I applied - perfect history with them (lots of other bank accounts to) ... declined. 2 days later when statement was generated - $2k increase.

    I think they don't give the line managers any authority - trust the system, it will guide your way.

    PS- Fleet has a hard & fast rule - 9 months between limit increases, no ifs ands or buts (unless the system generates one on it's own, then it's ok...!)

    George, how did you request the CL increase? Online or over the phone and did they pull a "hard" each time?

    PHONE...I SAID I DON'T NEED A "HARD" IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO ONE, FORGET IT!!!
