Amy, I have Fleet Titanium Visa and they give me 0% for purchases for six months, They didn't give high CL and the card has rewards program like MBNA World Points MC. By the way, they didn't give you higher credit limit by paying it off monthly. They consider to give limit increase every 9 months, Ron.
MY FLEET BT'S ARE WEIRD... The last one had a "GO-TO" 14.99% MY PURCHASE RATE IS 9.74%!!!!!! MY NEWEST BT IS 1.99% WITH A "GO-TO" 18.99%!!!!!!! Talk about getting "BIT" by not paying in full BEFORE the expire date!!!!!! THIS IS EXCESSIVE!!!
Amy I've had a plat fixed rate of 7.9 for 2 years recieved first increase after 9 months 2 increase 6 months after that I usually revolved around 10,000 for a couple months then paid it off then used again my initial cl was 11,000 not to high but not bad.
...AND I CALL ABOUT GETTING 7.90%... "Sorry he must be mistaken about the interest rate...we don't have that rate" AMEX DID THE SAME TO ME FOR A LONG TIME FOR BLUE!!!
Goodness gracious Will you make me sick. How many cards do you revolve a balance on monthly (average)? My dh's initial is a toy card (2k).....so after sitting here stressing back and forth I went ahead and paid in full, more because I "think" we have too many cards reporting a balance, even though our utilization is fine. I counted up 10 cards on EXP today (I am way too addicted to this) with a balance b/c of bt's and special offers, even though some I paid off. Get this, I have even figured when my cycle dates are so I can use "free" money and pay off before the cycle date. Am I the only psycho on here??? I have several mortgages to do and I want my scores back up. I lost 65 points total (on ex fako) because of new cards and a couple cards are reporting the balance as the cl which peeves me!! I am trying to get the scores up (less balances I guess) before I have to have my cr's pulled. I finally agree. It IS a game!! gads!
My brother was recently approved online for this card 10K limit 0% for six months. At the 9 months you can request a credit limit increase.
Those of you who are getting 10k plus on an initial cl with Fleet.....did you already have 10k plus cards? my dh didn't at the time, however, his 2k initial cl offered was one of the lowest. he had excellent credit with tu too, low util. and no derogs.

They received my payment on the 10th, the online statement shows the payment, but the previous month's balance still affects my "available credit."
