I have really had a time trying to make a payment on my credit card! In the past, three or four days before my payment was due, I would get calls, asking whether I wanted to make a payment by phone. Anyhow, I've never had trouble with First National Bank of Marin before, all my payments are posted correctly, I've never been late, not once in almost three years. I called Friday, Saturday and today, and was told customer service is closed. So I logged online to make a payment, it took forever, but FINALLY went through.
I decided to do a check on FNBM at the BBB site. It says FNBM has an unsatisfactory record, and that they are operating without a license, and if consumers do business with them it is at their own risk!
    WHAT IS GOING ON?

SOUNDS LIKE A SHADY OPERATION. OPERATING WITHOUT A LICENSE SOUNDS FISHY TO ME. EITHER THEY CANT'T GET ONE, OR WON'T GET ONE. CAN'T SAY ONE REASON IS WORSE THAN THE OTHER. SOMETHINGS NOT RIGHT WITH 'EM. YOU SHOULD RESEARCH FUTHER. THE BBB REPORT IS PROBABLY JUST A TIP OFF THE ICEBERG.
JUST MY OPINION...TAKE IT FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH.

I have had a card with them for a year now and haven't had any problems.

If you find out any more info, please share with me, it does sound a little shady!
