    George,
Relative to the NextCard or Discover problem with your wife's account goto rate I thought you'd find the following interesting. It is from the New Jersey law site.
    --------------------------
e.Making a false statement of credit terms. A person is guilty of a disorderly persons offense when he understates or fails to state the interest rate, or makes a false or inaccurate or incomplete statement of any other credit terms.

    ------------------------
Hmmm, disorderly persons offense. Try that one on them. They do business in NJ, don't they? LOL

The only problem with DISCOVERCARD is they insist on PULLING a credit report...
I will not use the account until they meet my terms.
$5,500 higher credit line, no questions, no credit report.
The card is in the sock drawer.
I spend $900+/- each week...and they know it.
They will lose the POWER TRIP!!!
OR THEY WILL SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES.

After 5 years of no credit line increase, I don't think I'm asking for much.
