Hello psychdoc, I just wanted to find out how you knew that your "trick" was working again. Do you just check the old links every so often to see if they are working? I missed the boat on round 1 and 2 and am hoping there will be a round 3 in the future. Thanks.

Hi, Christi -- I didn't know that "Doc's Trick" had begun working again. Another Creditnet board member happened upon the original posting, tried it, and found that it still worked (which lasted only for a weekend apparently). I don't bother checking the link regularly. Hey, Dave! I posted an update regarding the AmEx situation here: http://consumers.creditnet.com/straighttalk/board/showthread.php?s=&postid=232616#post232616 In a nutshell, they gave me the 2% card instead of the 5% card. I escalated like crazy through the customer service hierarchy to no avail. One fellow up the ladder said something like, "She wasn't supposed to convert your Blue to anything at all, so she may lose her job over this." I continued to demand the 5% card I was promised but didn't succeed. One rep did increase my LOC from $3500 to $7500, though. I'll keep the 2% card for now. End of sad story, lol. Randy
