If you have a CCB account, PLEASE stop putting them on MY credit report. I have never had an account with Cross Country. In January, I disputed a CCB entry as not mine and it was immediately removed. In February, another damn CCB account. Disputed and removed. March, another... disputed and removed. April, yet again, another damn CCB account, disputed.... Seems like they are trying to slip a damn account in my file each month. Time for my attorney to send a letter to these a-holes. All of these accounts have had different account numbers so they weren't posting the same one to my account. And now, in April, I have another damn listing from Gulfstate as a collection account on the first CCB that was on my file in January. And we all know how intelligent the people are at OSI/Gulfstate. I think I am doomed to have bad credit for the rest of my life.... UGH!!!
You need to send a nice letter to CCB instead of just disputing this every month. You also need to send a validation to gulf state/osi immediately. And, advise them of the situation. Then, file complaints with your state atty general, your state banking dep't or whoever oversees ca's. As for gulf state, address your dispute to the "compliance dep't."
