    I'm scared....

I am preapproved for a mortage. One of the requirements is to bring all accounts current pay them off.

My question is a few debts I settled/paid, a few are past the SOL and I disputed them off. When they pull my report before the closing will they still see these debts that were disputed off, and if so, will they ask me to pay them eventhough they aren't legal debts anymore (past the SOL)?

They pulled my credit reports before I started the cleanup process, so I'm worried they will question what happened to all the bad accounts. I explained above what happened to them but I'm uncomfortable what will happen.

    Thanks.

Just tell them you took care of the accounts and got them removed. You may even get a better mortgage rate if they look at your new and improved credit report.

They will not say anything as long as u have not pick up in any more debt or new collections u will be fine.

U should ask for a better rate if your scores r higher.

    Good Luck!
