Since you can't post I put it here for you.

BTW - Welcome aboard Wookieman. Try posting tomorrow. It should work then. If not PM the Mod and he'll fix it.

Sorry to hear about your Wife Wookieman.

I wanted to bring your issue over here because your situation is somewhat complex. Having your own threads will get you more attention.

Any accounts which are included in your BK cannot survive the BK drop date. Assuming you were properly discharged your BK13 will drop 7 years from the date you filed.

However, accounts developed since then are potentially problematic and probably should be attacked first.

Pick an account and start asking your questions. Keep the private overly detailed info. OUT of your posts and state the basics. And approxomate the amounts.

And then answer questions from others as they arise.

Thanks Butch, it was a hard few years thereafter.

I have noticed alot of old accounts on my report are still open, should I have them closed?

If they're positive accounts, leave them open. The length of history will help your score.

    Ok,

I received the 1st of my 3 credit reports, and there is a buncha garbage on there, including a collection agency that keeps requesting my credit report. There is also one CA that is showing my account open and unpaid when it is paid and closed, which I have the receipt for.
What is it that I need to do now to get my awful credit back into shape?
