Forcing Experian to re-investigate

I have one single negative account on my Experian report. It is a paid charge-off from 1997 that was bought by a collection agency. The trade line is from American General Finance, but the collection agency does not appear anywhere on the report. This does not appear on any of my other reports either.

My problem is, I have asked Experian to investigate this account in the past (standard "not mine" approach), and it came back as verified. Now, they won't re-investigate the account.

My problem is compounded because the CA who is handling the account (Credit Solutions, L.L.C.)actually validated it a few months back. So, I can't dispute this directly with the CA anymore.

I just sent another letter to Experian claiming they are reporting it incorrectly, demanding reinvestigation, etc. but I'm thinking they will just come back and say "already investigated" like they usually do. How can I get this removed?
