has anyone out there gone thru a ch7bk and continued making payment for a leased vehicle without getting a bill or reaffirmation agreement for the following months after the bk?
I have. I contacted FMC repeatedly about turning the car in, whether I would owe them $, would anything be put on my CR. like an idiot, i took their numbers and extensions and relied upon them telling me I could turn it in at anytime and that no additional money would be owed, nor would any other thing be on my CR. Ran an exp and discovered that they have a big fat repossession as of December 01 and additional money owed. nothing about being included in ch7. called their national bk center and tried to get it straightened out. didn't work the first time. tried again. we'll see. i suppose i have to pay my bk lawyer to get them straightened out. anyone ever in the same predicament?

Yes. Primus -- a division of Ford -- let me keep my leased car as long as I kept making payments. They never sent me a bill. I asked, and the rep told me the lawyers won't let them send bills because of the BK laws. But I kept paying, and there wasn't a problem keeping the car.

I turned it in a month early, and at first Primus listed it as a repo. But by disputing I managed to get it changed to either "included in BK" or removed from all of my reports.
