FordCr. Not going to change dates

I have an account with FMC. I will agree that I have been late 6 times in the last 2 years. 30 days only.

However, when I get copies of all 3 CRA, they report different dates late. Some have 8 lates, some 7. But the dates are all different. I was never late in 2003, however, it shows 3 times this year. Now, I contacted them to change the lates. (I disputed with all 3 cra's only to have them verified.)

I CSR told me that they wouldn't change the late dates. One shows as recent as May 03, but, according to FMC, as long as it is showing the correct number of lates, they won't be changed. This is gonna dog my score, since I am in a position to not be late again.

Should I contact the CRA with a letter confirming FMC statement that they won't fix the lates?

    HELP

Come on guys, isn't this a willful violation if you've heard one? Refusing to fix the dates? Or, is it the # of times late that really matter?

It sounds like total BS to me. I would write to FMC and demand a list of exactly when you were late, get them to supply you with a list of the lates and dates, then go to the CRA with information from the supplier and demand that they remove any lates on their report that don't jive with what FMC shows. Then sue the CRA for not taking your evidince, which you got strait from the horses a... uhh mouth. If the CRA is showing one or more lates in 2003, and you have documented proof from FMC that you were only late in 2002, then they MUST fix it. If they refuse, sue them and win a few thousand dollars and or deletion of ALL the lates.

Unfortunatly this possible tactic will shoot you in the foot about ever trying to get the lates removed as "Never Late" since you will give the CRA information as to when you actually were late, but at least all three would have the same set of lates, and you would probably get some $$$ out of it, because we all know the CRA won't do anything until after the ITS letter has gotten to them.

    Just a thought.
