Biting the bullet,,, the only thing I knew before this forum was my pedestrian rights.
Now, I dream all night long that everywhere I go and everything I do is based on FICO scores and big brother watching me wrhere ever I go.
Now, when a person glances and smiles my way the first thing I think is, " I wonder what his credit scores are."
I am often filled with heavy guilt from blowing so much money pre-CN. I subsitute that guilt with fantasizing about pulling hard inquiries on bankers and loans men. LOL That brings some calm but is seems short-lived when I learn something new again.

I think looking at the foreclosure listing is the hardest part for me to confront without feeling sick from loss. I REALLY loved that house.

Having courageously opened up CN foreclosure threads.

I have to ask you or who do you recommend I call for answers?

If the house was in my father's name
He put down the 20% deposit check in JULY 1993 also date opened.
He demanded the $45,000 dollars extra be sent to him from the sale of the house.
I was a co-signer who payed all the mortgage payments,
I put all her money and time upgrading the house.
I recieved one letter regarding foreclosure.
My father did not recieve ANY notices, warrnings or calls about a possibly foreclosure when I fell to ill to work.
Payments were always on time before I fell ill.
No public notices on my report. No California public notices that I have seen or had been made aware of.
I do not know what hmy father's CR looks like we haven't spoken since.
My father after foreclosure sent me a letter stating they were wrong and that we could get the house back. The loss at the time was too great for me to think or deal with and I was still ill.

Do you think I have a leg to stand on getting it deleted from my CR? I do want it deleted right?

You do want it gone - absolutely. If I remember correctly, it is showing a -0- balance? If so, then you don't have to worry about the ramifications of stirring the pot.

I haven't had to deal with a foreclosure. Why don't you tell us how the TL is reporting on each cr, and we can help with a plan of attack.

Since you are new to this, and have lots of different issues, you might even want to tuck this one away till you have some more knowledge, practice, and motivation under your belt. I did the same thing with some of the more difficult problems I have - you will get more courage with each success.

I want preach to you too much on your Dad, I just lost mine a little over a year ago, and our relationship had its highs and lows. But I thank goodness every day that when I first found out he was ill I flew in to see him. We didn't hash out issues, or anything like that, I was just there, so when he died, I had peace. We knew in our hearts that we loved each other, and everything else was water under the bridge.

    Right, -0- balance. Okay.

Okay. And yes, that is exactly what is happening. I am most excited about secured passbook loans to establish credit and discovering what all those ominous Credit Union buildings down the street are for. LOL

I am also learning that when everything is in dispute there is an exagerated temporary FICO score. Timing of Val/Disputing the foreclosure, COs could possibly give me an exagerated FICO score and be able to get a score driven card with the CU Plus card. Although, I get the distinct impression my measly 586 is going to drop significantly after eliminating all the TLs. I will have no score whats so ever. Timing too seems important from what I can see.

Preachers are good. :) Yeah, I ran a Search on your beginnings at CN not too long ago. There were way to many posts to follow you all the way up but I caught wind of your loss too.

    It's a small world.
